Speaking of LANVIN. The press pictures are out from the collaboration between Lanvin and H&M. The collection is described as full of modern and playful classics. Here are my favourites.

Vivienne Westwood's Red Label Spring 2011.
Vivienne Westwood choosed to highlight a cause with her Red label collection, the cause was the human rights of prisoners, Reprieve. The line were inspired by the female forms and tailoring. Pencil dresses, cowl necklines, Spanish-style frills and draped jersey frocks pretty much sums up the whole. & to contradict the femninity the models had their faces painted like warriors. Loving Westwood.

H&M Playing "Guess Who?"
I always knew that H&M is very good at coorporating social medias into their marketing. Only looking at their facebook fanpage is propably one of the most developed one when comparing it to all global brands. Now they are taking the lead again. With a viral campaign, H&M is creating global curiosity about the next designer collaboration, where people are encouraged to guess which designers appear on the videos. - The rumours are that it's Lanvin. And I wish it's true!
Hands up for H&M!!

New designer; Hakaan Yildirim
Hakaan Yildirim is the new star of the fashion world. The relatively unknown designer got huge media exposure after some of the most influential profiles such as Kate Moss and Carine Roitfeld booked them up for his first show. And I see why since the designs are amazing. The collection consists of well tailored looks celebrating the female forms. Minidresses in neutral tones, aggressively geometric silhouettes and sharp waists are keywords for his designs. I will definitely have an eye on him in the future.

Diana Orving has created a collection for Weekday that will be out in retail the 26th of August 2010. The collection is based on key elements and trademark pieces for Diane Orving. With that said the collection will offer sharp sense for draping, coat dresses and well tailored pieces for a contemporary women. So looking forward to see it in stores.

J'aime mon carré

A street style website by Hermès called I love my scarf has recently been launched in close connection with facebook. The site has a focus on Hermès scarves and shows a selection of street style images from the fashion meccas NY, London, Paris and Tokyo, where all are wearing a scarf in one way or another. It is also intended to widespread the usage of scarves and displays several ways of how to wear them and how to personalize it to your style with small DIY tips.
Hermès has for long been associated with a classical and sometimes conservative brand culture. This youth orientated campaign will enhance the brand image amongst youngsters and receive a positive brand awareness among all fashionistas worldwide.
More of this type of communication, I certainly love it!
