Girls Army.

ARMY is obviously back as a major trend. It substitutes nicely the rock/punk chic trend that has governed a couple of seasons. - I'm in on this one.

Chanel at Selfridges

Pic. Borrow from The Cut

I've always had a thing for inspiring window displays. This one is by Chanel at Selfridges in London. It really manages to catch the theme of the Autumn/Winter collection by Chanel that were highly inspired by Eskimo style. - As well as telling a story behind it. Loving it!

Rounded - Squared - Grey - Detailed.

Autumn

I don't think anyone has missed this seasons big hype - Hats. They are everywhere & in all forms. The hats are the new subsitute for big necklaces, that has been the primary accessorie for the previous seasons. - Now it's about wearing hats as a statement piece. Like it or not. I must say I kind of like it (even though I'm not going to throw away my statement necklaces yet).

It's about time!! In the end of the year Alexander Wang will open his first own store 103 Grand Street in NY (where Yohji Yamamoto once had a shop).

DOVER STREET MARKET

Dover street market

I came across this store during my studies in fashion and has for long looking forward to visit the store. Some time ago I was in London and my first priority of the trip was to know this infamous multibrand store.

Dover Street Market displays a range of high end luxury labels using highly artistic VM methods. Therefore the expectations were very high when entering and to be honest, at first sight the shop seemed slightly too commercial whereas I thought it was going to be more weight on the aesthetic and exhibiting the brands rather than selling them. Yes! A bit of a dissapointment but yet amazing when considering the mix of the brands they carry. Indeed a must when visiting London!

Lets Swing it in Barcelona

My all time favourite vintage shop is located in the Raval district of Barcelona. The assortment of the store offers a mix of luxury vintage products from the infamous high-end brands (Louis Vuitton, Chanel, St. Laurent etc.) along with retro-chic pieces from local designer to complete the movie star look from the 60´s.
Le Swing offers a carefully chosen selection of the best vintage treasure available in the market - here can be found everything from garments, accessories to a limited offer of throwback vintage furnitures. Make sure to visit it, when you are in town.

My last buy was a classic Cartier bag - Adorable.
