Dreaming away.

If I was an millionaire I would definetly be wearing this at the office tomorrow! However I don't think it should be too challenging to find similar pieces at the fashion chains for a way more affordable price - Tomorrows mission; track down that look!

3D Surrealism

"Put the room on the women, rather than the women in the room"

Mary Katrantzou showed a Spring Summer collection in a surreal theme where interiors were used as the main element. Silhuettes along with accessories created an amazingly inspiring three dimensional effect on the designs. She also managed to create pieces that requires to be worn together. - No necklace to a dress means a room missing its chandelier).

J'aime mon carré - Step 2

J'aime mon carré theme by Hermes (that I posted for some time ago) is about to take its next step. The label is planning to open two pop-up stores for a limited time this Winter. The stores has a purpose to celebrate the iconic scarf together with stylists to discover new ways to wear it & for photographers to catch the moment.

Speaking of LANVIN. The press pictures are out from the collaboration between Lanvin and H&M. The collection is described as full of modern and playful classics. Here are my favourites.

Halloween Extravaganza

LANVIN seemed to have a hell of a Halloween party this weekend at Madison Square, NY. Very refreshing with the contradictions of girlish pink and scary halloween.

Woman who shaped fashion.

Came to think about some fashion history lessions I had at school & then Elsa Schiaparelli popped up in my mind. Such a creative creature who should never be forgotten. So, here is a reminder to you all. Got to love her.

Lanvin appetizer

The first pictures of the collaboration between H&M and Lanvin is now out. And we can happily say that it looks very promising. The collection will hit the retails 23rd of November. I can't wait.

Luxury Simplicity.

Kimberly Ovitz Spring Summer 2011 My all time favourite designer is Kimberly Ovitz. Her designs have a certain scandinavian feeling, where simplicity & edgy cuts are honored. After seeing her Spring Summer-11 collection, I fell in love again.

Chanel at Selfridges

Pic. Borrow from The Cut

I've always had a thing for inspiring window displays. This one is by Chanel at Selfridges in London. It really manages to catch the theme of the Autumn/Winter collection by Chanel that were highly inspired by Eskimo style. - As well as telling a story behind it. Loving it!

Paper Dolls by MMM

Maison Martin Margiela SS11 showed a collection of overdimensional forms, looking like paper doll outfits. Perhaps not the most practical pieces but the idea was very good. I like!

Same but different.

Balmain keeps reinventing its signature look season after season. The trademark look of the label follows a rock-chic feminity where leather, studs, sequins, shoulder pads & laced shoes are held dear. I just keep wondering, Where will Balmain be when this type of fashion feels last season?!
