J'aime mon carré theme by Hermes (that I posted for some time ago) is about to take its next step. The label is planning to open two pop-up stores for a limited time this Winter. The stores has a purpose to celebrate the iconic scarf together with stylists to discover new ways to wear it & for photographers to catch the moment.

Since Friis & Company has expanded their concept from only accessories to a full clothing line I stopped by their homepage & got caught up with this moodboard. Images really says more than thousands words & by looking at this I can get a full picture of what their brand philosophy is all about.
The Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2011 show that I posted (
Acne designs transvestite collection in collaboration with Candy Magazine(A transvestite publication). The collection is not aiming to offer typical unisex pieces but to create a total gender confusion. And appeal an open-minded 21st century consumer. Even though the collection is small (only 3 pieces) I definitly like the message behind this collaboration.

Hakaan Yildirim is the new star of the fashion world. The relatively unknown designer got huge media exposure after some of the most influential profiles such as Kate Moss and Carine Roitfeld booked them up for his first show. And I see why since the designs are amazing. The collection consists of well tailored looks celebrating the female forms. Minidresses in neutral tones, aggressively geometric silhouettes and sharp waists are keywords for his designs. I will definitely have an eye on him in the future.
