Another colour that is trendy for the season is Burgundy. This colour can be easily used from top to toe and with that applying another fall/winter-10 trends or just as an accent colour especially nice in details such as bags, shoes, gloves etc.

Autumn mood

Today for the first time this year I have true autumn feelings. With that I don't necessarily refer to clothing and outfits, but more like palpable feelings of new beginnings, productivity and time to start taking things seriously again. Is it just me who tend to get those feelings when autumn brakes in?

Camilla Norrback

Camilla Norrback's collection at Stockholm FW showed a girly image in combination with a stylish and tailored look. My personal favourites of the collection are the 4 looks shown above (see more of the collection here).
Something that I paid extra attention to are the details in red that gives the looks a yet more personal appearance. Red in combination with mint green seems to make the colour shine through even stronger. I have to admit that I'm loving the contrast. I also happen to have a thing for nylon socks nowadays and after seeing this collection, my obsession is ever stronger.
J'aime mon carré

A street style website by Hermès called I love my scarf has recently been launched in close connection with facebook. The site has a focus on Hermès scarves and shows a selection of street style images from the fashion meccas NY, London, Paris and Tokyo, where all are wearing a scarf in one way or another. It is also intended to widespread the usage of scarves and displays several ways of how to wear them and how to personalize it to your style with small DIY tips.
Hermès has for long been associated with a classical and sometimes conservative brand culture. This youth orientated campaign will enhance the brand image amongst youngsters and receive a positive brand awareness among all fashionistas worldwide.
More of this type of communication, I certainly love it!

Knock on Wood

Wood Wood, A Danish streetwear label that communicates a true "street-art goes fashion" image. I came across it when scanning through the CFW reviews and really liked what I saw. The images above are taken from their fall/winter-10 lookbook.

Shoe Trends

Two-colored boots is coming big this fall. Its all about playing with different, contrasting colours on the shoes. This trend is frequently combined with the laced up trend. (See below)

Semi-high boots is one of the fall's big IT. The boots should go to the upper calf, be straight and not be formed after leg-shape. The models are often inspired by rubber boots.

Laced up boots in all forms have been seen among many of the Fall/Winter catwalks. This trend take form in both flat-and high heeled pieces and is often combined with the trend of fur linigs. Practical to keep the feet warm this winter.

Over knee boots are a trend that still hangs in from earlier seasons, but this season is becoming more widely used in brighter colors and in suede. How hot!

CFW Continuity

Style in showed a collection based on feminine styles and a mature city chic image. The signatures of the line were the clean cuts within a colour palette of black, nude and grey, along with transparent fabrics and detailed cuts.

Munthe plus Simonsen (despite the rainy evening) pulled off their fashion show with excellence. The line showcased a etno-chic look leaving room for feminity. The colour scheme contained pale colours, mixed with rough black. The contrasts were created by the usage of accent colours in sharp red, green and pink.

Bruuns Bazaar hold on to the Fall/winter-10 trend where full outfits were combined in same colours. Otherwise edgy cuts and combination of different fabrics were trademarks for the show. "Miss matchings" were also frequently showed and stripes combined with other patterns.

BZR (The younger line of Bruuns Bazaar) offered a girlish collection where feminity was centralized. Ethereal fabrics in a pale colour scheme, maxi dresses and prints of different kind summarizes this collection.
